Today I’m rounding up some finds of the week that would be super cute for upcoming Valentine’s day related events – or if you just like pretty red & pink things. Everything is UNDER $100! For more daily budget finds make sure to check out my Instagram @abbysbudgetbuys.
I don’t know about you, but I always love discovering new brands and the one I’m sharing today is really new. It just officially launched this week! I’m so excited to introduce you all to Life Proper which is a line of utility, laptop and sketchpad totes made here in the USA. The bags, which come in leather or canvas, are as functional as they are chic and they are pretty much everything I’m looking for in a laptop bag/purse. One of the biggest pains when I’m traveling (especially when I’m toting around Nellie) is that I have so much to bring with me on the plane and it always gets disorganized and is super heavy and bulky. I always bring my computer, cameras and tech products in my carry-on because I just don’t trust it to be checked and I’ve tried several ways to pack them and I just haven’t found a great option.
I decided to try out the satchel in leather which also comes with a cross-body strap and was thoroughly impressed with the style and quality of the bag. Not only does the bag comfortably fit my laptop, some magazines, my camera, wallet and other typical bag contents, but the bag still looks sleek and chic and it’s super easy to carry. I love all the interior compartments which keep things organized in such a big bag and also ensures that nothing is going to spill in your bag. I highly recommend checking out Life Proper if you are looking for a stylish laptop/tech bag! I know you are going to love it!
Oh and about the outfit — I decided to layer two satin shirts (both $13 from Forever 21) with a pair of skinny jeans that I scored from Nordstrom Rack. I’m sure you’ve seen these loafers from Topshop before (similar loafers) and then I accessories with a hat from Forever 21 (similar and on sale), watch from Target and of course added a little scarf, which seems to be my signature style as of late.
