Today I thought I’d share some “festive” photos that I’ve taken this past month before the holidays pass us by in the blink of an eye. I didn’t get to all of my to-do list but we did make it to Balboa Island and we got to see the Newport Boat parade – both which were so fun! I also did a holiday outfit shoot for Glitter Guide this month which I had a great time doing. I styled 3 outfits with Gap Factory and we shot it over by Lido Marina Village which is a must-visit if you live in the area or are passing by. It’s the cutest little area filled with pretty shops, great drinks, food and a harbor view. All the outfit photos were shot but the super talented Ariane Moshayedi.
I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Lots of love!

In the summer when I’m not sure what to wear, I always throw on a sundress! At one point I had a fairly extensive collection of dresses, but when we moved into our new apartment and downsized our closet I ended up doing a bit of a purge and getting rid of some of the pieces that boarded more on tattered rags than a light summer sundress.
I found this one pretty pink dress on Avenle and while it’s a little bit more feminine that something I normally wear, I thought it was a great piece to have and the perfect canvas for endless accessorizing! For it’s first time out on the town, I belted it with a vintage scarf, added a vintage bag… and these fringe sandals. I’ll be completely honest and say that those shoes were definitely not the ones I was planning to wear, but for the life of me, I couldn’t find the ones I was planning on wearing (and I still can’t), sooo….
I love the pale pink color, length, the movement the dress has. I also love how it can be easily dressed up our down. I’m sure you’ll see this dress again soon!
